                 Sri Vidya Saraswati Temple

                                       
                   Sri Vidya Saraswati Temple or VARGALl Saraswati Temple, a Hindu temple located in Wargal village, Medak district in Andhra Pradesh, India and is about 48 kilometers away from Hyderabad. Its pictorial background has a unique rock formation and a valley around the hill. There is an another temple dedicated to Lord Shani separately with a big statue around 3 feet high, one of the biggest statue of the Lord Shani in A.P.
On the hillock of Warangal there are temples of Sri Lakshmi Ganapathi temple, Sri Vidya Saraswati temple, Lord ShaniShwara temple, Lord Shiva temple and few Vishnava temples (now completely damaged without any mola vigrahas in it).
100’s of people who visit the temple were given food daily. During Dusshera, 1000’s of devotees visit the temple every day and the temple starts with Vigneshwara Puja, Maha Abishekam Navaratri Kalasha Sthapana Chathu Sha shatyu pachara pooja, Arathi, Mantha Pushpam, Kukumarchana were performed.
       The pooja that is conducted for Lord Shani on every Shani Trayodashi with oil known as Taila Abishekam is said to be the main event in the temple and also a Homam starts at 5.00 a.m. in the morning and ends at 12.00 p.m. in the noon is thing that attract the devotees to the temple.
Main events that are conducted in temple are Chandi Homam and pooja’s for Shani on every Shani Trayodashi.
