Thousand Pillar Temple

              The Thousand Pillar Temple may be a historic Hindu temple located in the town of Hanamakonda, Telangana State, India. It’s dedicated to Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu, Lord Surya (sun God).

 Thousand Pillar Temple History:

         The Thousand Pillar Temple is one of the terribly old temples of South India that was designed by the kakatiyas family. And The Thousand Pillar Temple builds very fantastic mathematical architectural skills by the traditional kakathiya vishwakarma sthapathis. It’s believed that the Thousand Pillar Temple was built by King Rudra Deva in 1163 AD. And The Thousand Pillar Temple is build in 12th century the great Rulers kakatiayas.It was destroyed by the Tughlaq family line during their invasion of South India. It is only  one temple and different architecture building, there are 1000 pillars in the building and the temple; however no pillar obstructs an individual in any point of the temple to see the god in the different temple.

              The present day engineers have taken out all the pillars from the building. When they raised all the pillars they encountered a large mass of sand. It took nearly time period for them to require away all the sand. It had been wet sand, due to a pipe connection from the near water body named Bhadrakali Cheruvu.
