 On the Bay of Pampa River, God Sri Satyanarayana Swamy has his place for his devotees. Any prayers regarding any functions in anybody's home always start with worshipping God Sri Satyanarayana Swamy. Locals call it "Satyanarayana Vratham". God Sri Satyanarayana Swamy's temple is in Annavaram and many more places nearby.

                     The God Sri Ramasahitha Satyanarayana Swamy's temple in Visakhapatnam is located on a hill called "Isuka Kondalu".

                      Bhadra and Ratnakara are two devotees of Lord Sri Hari. The epics say that Bhadra and Ratnakara saw God Sri Hari after rigorous prayers. Bhadra has got the chance to become Bhadradri and Ratnakara has got the chance to become Ratnakarudu also known as satyanarayana Swamy.

                      Visakhapatnam is a popular place for tourists and the locals due to its geographic conditions and orientation. Sea, hills and large grounds make visakha one of the most loved cities in India. "Isuka Konda" is located near King George Hospital area. Locals say that the temple of Sri Satyanarayana Swamy is 200 years old. A man named Sita Ram Babaji built the temple. There is a five story "Raja Gopuram" in the entrance of the temple. It has the Idols of different Goddesses and "Dasavatharas". Through this the devotees, enter the main part of the temple. The female devotees do "Deeparaadhana" at the "Dwaja Sthambha" in "Gharbhalaya". This mainly takes place on every Friday and in "Karthikam". The Dwajasthambha is made of five metals ("Pancha Loha"). Many devotees come here to see the God every day. The entire place looks and feels so spiritual due to it architecture and the God himself. There is a speciality for this temple i.e. the idols of the God and the Goddess has both black and white stone idols at the same place. Devotees pray that their life be filled with joy and peace. This temple is so popular that nearly 1,00,000 people come here for Prayers every month.
