Sri Padmavathi Sametha Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy temple, Narayanavanam, is one among such rare temples. At a location of 36 KM away from Tirupati, this is easily reachable for an enthusiastic devotee. At its distance of 102 KM from the Chennai, this temple can also be visited at a short burst of time.

According to the History and Purana's, Narayanavanam was the location of one of the most auspicious events on Earth – the marriage between Sri Venkateswara Swamy and Sri Padmavathi. This temple was built by Aakasharaja, the blessed father of Padmavathi thayar. And accordingly this temple is considered a monument of celebration and joy. Anyone paying homage at this temple with full devotion has directly gained a part of the spread of good fortune. This can take the form of fame, monetary prosperity, bravery, papa Moksha (relief from one's sin)

•The specialty of this temple is well conjured up in its name. At this temple, you can take Darshan of Sri Venkateswara Swamy at the full adulation of his marriage attire. Behind the Venkateswara Swamy, Sri Padmavathi goddess dressed as a bride. Both the deities are present at the same central complex. This Darshan itself a blissful experience compared to other temples.
 

•Apart from the main temple, there are four sub-temples scattered across the temple complex. These are Sri Padmavathi Devi temple, Sri Andal Devi temple, Sri Sita Lakashmana Sametha Rama temple, Sri Ranganayakula Swamy temple.

Legend/Purana of Sri Padmavathi Sametha Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Temple
 
As mentioned earlier, this temple was built on the divine occasion of marriage between Sri Venkateswara Swamy and Goddess Padmavathi. In-order to proclaim the significance of this occasion, two temples were built – one at The Tirumala and the other at Narayanavanam. As Narayanavanam, was the witness of this divine spectacle, both the deities are presented at the same structure in the temple complex. Henceforth the temple derives its name Sri Padmavathi Sametha Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Temple.
 
The authenticity of this story is proven by the ancient architecture surrounding the main temple. In the area around the main temple, there are several ancient fort statues. These are considered the remnants of a great ancient kingdom capital. Today the devotee's call these remnants the 'Maha Raju Kota.' (Means remains of an ancient palace). In-addition to these there exist a black-stone fort security walls encapsulating the mountains of Puttur.
